You got to be careful with whom you deal. I thought I was doing good finding Federal XM856 5.56x45 64gr Tactical Tracer 20 rounds for $10.56 a box with free shipping. So I created an account, put 50 boxes in the shopping cart, and went to checkout. Once there and right before I was about to enter my debit card info, I noticed there was no "s" after the http. Not good.

So I called to place my order by phone. No toll free number I noticed, another red flag possibly. After a few rings, a pre-recorded cell phone message by the lady we've all heard, and where the break comes for the owner of the phone to record his name if he wants, the guy says '. . . . "Efraim" . . . then the lady comes back ' . . . is not available. At the tone, please blah blah yada yada muckity-muck schmuck.'

So I figure it's time to go to www.startingpage.com and check this dude out. I no longer use g[overnment]oogle because they keep dossiers like you cannot even imagine. They're very proactively destructive to liberty and privacy. Starting Page is a new take-off of Start Page which did not have the kind of results that google does. Starting Page fetches googles results but does not record your IP address and does not allow google to get at it either, so great search results are now possible without your IP being recorded. So feel free to exercise your rights to search for any topic you damn well please without making another government list. Anyway, so I enter "advanced munitions distribution scam?" into the search box and the very top hit was THIS.

His name is Efraim Diveroli and he's been "scamming" for a while thus sayeth the all-powrful BATFE. What got them so (deleted -- <Sam>) was the kid had landed a huge contract with the Army to sell them ammo. He delivered it too, but it was old and unreliable Chinese-made stuff from Mao Tse Tung era. So then (deleted -- <Sam>) started rolling downhill for him. Probably it's been posted here I don't know but I just wanted to share my experience in trying to avoid the state sales tax I have to pay when I buy from CTD because I live right up the road from them. Oh well, that state sales tax is looking pretty cheap compared to if I'd gone through with the checkout process on his website.

The worst thing is you know the feds have his phone now so every time it rings they write down the number and reverse it to add to their own dossier of "ammo buyers". Woooo wooo wooo you know the type, those of us who have the gall to believe we have a God-given right not to have our 2A not infringed upon. That means STOP REGULATING OUR RIGHTS UNDER THE RUSE OF INTERSTATE COMMERCE CLAUSE YOU TYRANNICAL (deleted -- <Sam>)! I feel so much better.

So if you stumble across that website avoid it like you would the plague.

The first tip-off should have been advertising "Tactical Tracers".

By definition, all tracer ammo is tactical in nature.

1st avoiding sales tax isn't all that legal and most states want to know about this when you file your taxes.

2nd CTD isn't actually Cheaper then anyone. You can find better deals elsewhere on ammo.

In many states there is no sales tax due if you purchase the item from a supplier/store that does not have a location in your state. IE no sales tax for someone in Maryland who purchases ammo online from a one shop dealer in Colorado. Nothing illegal about that. However if you buy the ammo from Bass Pro and there is a Bass Pro located in your state, then you pay tax.

whoa, Dunham's sports here in Minnesota had a special on that Federal Tracer ammo that they ran for two days. I got to a store on the second day (last monday) and bought the last 7 boxes for $7.99 each.

Those glowing bullets are FUN!
