Scandium frame S&W 1911 and polished feed ramp

I have a 4.25" SW1911Sc, and my feed ramp is already polished, and I cant see it doing anything. After a hundred rounds of WWB, and some various hollow points, the ramp is still mirror smooth. Ofcourse Scandium treat aluminum is suppose to be almost as strong as Titanium. So maybe it would hurt a standard aluminum frame. I dont know, Im speculating here out of worry for my gun now. I dont want to damage my baby.

Do I need to have the frame recoated ? by the way, by polished I dont mean its had the ramp angle changed, just the coating worn off the ramp shiney.

Yup, I am paranoid, because I love this gun. Best shooting handgun I have owned.

Thanks for the replies guys, I have also talked to my almost neighbor, 1911Tuner about it. I think Ill be ok.
