Scarcity of Ruger Speed Six 9mm w/4" barrel?

I've got an older 4" blued 9mm Ruger Speed Six with that I've had for a while and I've gotten to thinking about what its value might be on the open market. I know the 9mm snubbies command a hefty premium over .357 & .38 Specials. My 4" 9mm must be a pretty rare item because I've never actually even seen another one but I wonder if it has any extra juice over the 2 3/4" barrel .

Ruger collectors - How scarce is the 4" variant of the 9mm Speed Six?

Pretty scarce and getting hard to find. The value is going up and people seem to be in a frenzy for them right now. I saw one go for $600.00 recently. Good luck.

Even a Speed Six in .357 will cause excitement; I can only imagine the frenzy a clean, nice 9mm Speed Six would cause

I'm wondering specifically about the 4" barrel. I've never seen another 9mm
4" speed six in all my travels. I'm wondering how many were produced in proportion to the other Speed Six variants.

Why would a speed six in 357 cause excitement? I'm asking cause I have one in the closet. Solid as an anvil, heavy as one too :)

Not at all common or even available around here. I looked for one for several years when it would have been good for IDPA and never even saw one for sale at store or show. The occasional 2 3/4" turned up but I figured that would be a handicap on sight radius. Not suitable for IDPA under current rules, so I guess it turned out all right.
