SCCY makes Kel Tec P11 copies. Reviews are mixed. Kel Tec has been doing it better for longer so I'd go with their P11 instead.

The shop I work at had one of their older pistols with a broken safety (I think). We sent it in and they sent us a new in box newer model at no charge.

They stand behind their warrenty.

They are pretty good, especially for the price. The problem with the safety was on the cpx1. If you didnt grip the gun tight enough, the gun would rock in your hand upon recoil, just enough to engage the safety. You would then have to flip the safety down again to disengage it and continue firing. Sccy decided to completely eliminate the safety on the CPX2. The trigger pull is long enough that it isn't really a concern. And yes, from my experience and that of friends of mine, they DO stand behind their warranty 100%.

They currently produce the CPX-1 with a manual safety and the CPX-2 without. There were problems with both the location of the safety, and with the safety breaking on the first generation CPX-1. The current ones are "generation 2" to address those issues. I have sold quite a few of them, and reports have been positive so far.

Had the CPX-1 for awhile, but could not get rid of it fast enough. I also have (and like) the Keltec P11. The SCCY was a rediculously long, hard trigger pull, and reliability was not promising. Had to send it back to the factory for work do to misfeeds. The factory played with it a bit and sent it back. I had more FTF problems and called the factory and spoke with the technician that worked on it. I didn't feel he really give it much attention and only minimally improved the reliability of the pistol. So, the next gun show I went to it decided to go home with someone else. Good ridance!! No more SCCY for me.

Conversely, I have never had a minute of problems with my Keltec P11. It's a regular carry gun for me. Highly recommend it!
