I have a few fixed sights revolvers, and I shoot them at 10 and 15 yard usually. My Ruger Vaquero 45 shoots almost POA at 15 yards, and maybe 1/2" to 1" low at 10 yards. The 38/357 Uberti Cattleman is a almost POA at 15 yards, and about 1" low at 10 yards.
Then there's my 3" Cimarron Thunderball which I shoot "instinctively", without actually aiming. I keep both eyes open stretch the arm and shoot, I don't really look at the sights. I usually shoot it at 7-10 yards and at silhouettes, not bullseye targets. As long as I hit inside the lines I'm happy.
