O.k., not that y'all have convinced me not to trade my Garand for a scoped M1A, I decided to go ahead and build up my PTR-91. For those not familiar with it, it's an HK 91 clone built in the U.S. on the original HK tooling. The rep is that they are better than the originals, and very accurate for a semi-auto battle rifle.
I've got an original HK claw type scope mount for it, and a Stanag-to-weaver adapter rail. I can mount any standard scope that will take Weaver rings. Knowing nothing about rings or scopes, what should I be looking for?
