When I move to Oregon some 35 years ago I had almost every brand of scope made at the time. After several years of hunting and shooting in the wet, hot,cold climates of Oregon my scopes all had failed in one way or the other. The only ones that didn't fail were Leupolds. I replaced all the failures with Leupolds and never looked back. Funny thing that they are made in Oregon also. I had one fail, it was a 4X on a light 375 H&H and I took it in to Leupold which was only a few miles from my home. Greeted by a very nice woman that called another woman to take care of me. My thought was what's a female going to know about a hunting scope. The answer was way more than me!!!!!! The scope was repaired in 2 days, all the upgrades were installed and the cost was nothing.When I returned to pick it up she explained that they were very serious about their lifetime warranty and there was never a cost to repair one of their scopes. Before this I was sold on their product she just nailed it down tight. Try em you'll like em. FRJ
