OK, it's late and I'm bored so....I'm relatively new to optics since I've always just kinda "shot with what I got" and recently started to buy some mid-range scopes. I have a Nikon TeamPrimo/Monarch on the way after reading a few threads here. So now I think I might actually try to switch a few scopes around to see what works. How would you guys match these scopes and guns? They are in order according to what they are on right now (1A, 2B, etc).
SCOPE
1.Tasco (cheap 3-9x40 variety)
2.Simmons Aetec 2.8-10x44
3.Burris FF2 3-9x40
4.Burris FF2 4.5-14x42
5.Aimpoint CompM2
6.Nikon Team Primos 3-9x40
RIFLE
A.Ruger 10/22 (stock and keeping it that way-gift from grandfather, my first gun)
B.CZ550 varmint 308
C.CZ453 varmint 22lr
D.Rem700 BDL 30-06
E.Bushy m4geryA3
F.Nikon isn't here yet but I wanted to scope my Bushy 20" A2 or get a mount for the DSA Stg58.
I realize there may not be much of a difference with many of the scopes since I haven't really ventured away from the popular 3-9x variety. I think I'll move the Simmons off the CZ (although it does get pretty darn good groups).
Oh yeah, forgot the posp6x42 for my SAR1 but I never even put it on any more - just take it out of the trunk sometimes as a quick spotter.
