wanting to put scope on a Ruger#1-375h&h that I got. came with standared med. high rings. But when I put any of these scopes on, my eye relief is to long.
scopes tryed, Leo--6.5x20 EFR----tasco 6x24 target----simmons 6x10 aztac.
then got extension rings and have same problem to long a eye relief,

All suggestions welcomed.

thank you for your time

Well, all three of those scopes would seem to be huge target scopes with long objective lens bells.
And scopes with that much power generally have shorter & more critical eye relief then lower power scopes.

Maybe too much scope for a .375 H&H?

Have you considered a less powerful scope more in keeping with a .375's intended use?
Long eye relief might be a very good thing to have on a hard kicking .375 H&H!

However, it seems some combination of two extended rings should allow you to mount just about any scope you want on a Ruger #1.
Not sure what the problem is, but too powerful a target scope, with too critical eye relief would be my guess.

What is your intended purpose for your Ruger .375?
Unless you're planning on small critter shooting at extended ranges, you've experimented with way too many Xs.
As rc alluded to,lower magnifications offer much more forgiving eye relief.

going to be paper shooting and armadilio hunting -cast 265gr bullets from 25-200 yds at backyard range.
eyes 60+years,so I like plenty of power. as you say this might be problem.
what do you'll suggest for scope and what power?

I know one thing do not put a Armsport scope on a #1 in 375 it stays sighted in for maybe 5 rounds. I have used one for deer to moose and it works well.

I have a 8MM Mag with a 1.5x5 power scope. It can shoot .75 moa @ 100yds. I did changed the scope to a 3x9 simons scope. It did not last long. I put the 1.5x5 leopold back on. The recoil on your .375 is more than my 8MM Mag.

I'm wondering if you are trying to put to much scope on your 375 H&H. I put an old Leupold 3x9 on my Sako 375 H&H years ago. Never had any issues with it.

Without knowing your vision limitations ? Hopefully something like 1.5-5,2-7,or 3-9 will suffice.
I'll say this: If you're shooting paper & armadillos with a .375,your 60+ yr old shoulder is in fine shape! My hat's off to ya.
Good luck Sir.

I have a Tasco 6-24 target on a No-1 and the eye relief seems fine to me..but its a V target job and has a totaly differant barral and mount set up though vs the tropicals.
