Hey, am buying a Remington 700 SPS Tactical after the summer is over because of money pourposes, and I'm putting a Super Sniper 10x40mm with Badger Ordinance rings and mounts.

However everything is process good n' fine, besides my rings and mount, are their any close to the quality of these. My last were Mk 4s from Leupold, which are good but I want to use a rail system with 0-10MOA none more, their more usable, and they, in my opinion look better.

Are their any cheaper than $300 for rings (medium height), and a railed 0-10MOA base.

Thanks for any info.

I've used a couple of the Ken Farrell mounts and have been very impressed by the quality of their products. You may also choose the degree of elevation for your mount, starting at 10, 15, or 20MOA.
I use the 15MOA on my Savage 10FP, in .308 and haven't run out of elevation so far. And she shot in @ 100yds just fine.
Farrell will also machine a set of rings to match your mount - I thought that was pretty cool.
I don't use their rings tho (too pricey), I like the Warne Maxima QD rings w/ the vertical split.

Are you going to be throwing your rifle out of a helicopter before you fast rope out? If not, there is not reason to spend $300 for rings unless you just hang out with a really tacticool crowd. How many people have you heard of who have broken rings anyway? Get some Burris Signature Zee rings, and the plastic inserts won't tear up your scope when you mount it. And if you need to add 10-20 MOA, you can use offset inserts to get there, without using an extra MOA base. Lots of people doing it. Hard to beat a Farrell MOA base if you really want one though.

+1 on the Farrell's.

I've run them on both Remington's and Winchester's. The customer service is also very good.

$300 is alot to ask for unless your a professional sniper/DMR, I'm just a hunter, and I hunt with THE most untactical group of hunters, they hunt for the thrill (sometimes I do question this), and to put meat in the freezer. I hunt for those reasons, but I've got to have a nice lookin' camoed out gun. My uncle and cousin do NOT understand my need for pure accuacy, a 3" group at 100 yards is good enough for them, I got to have 1" or smaller, or I get pised at myself.

Just want some good solid rings that'll serve me well, preferably for under $200:)
