I'm not sure about the Bushnell.

Mine wears a Simmons 22 Mag Compact. It keeps the carbine-like feel and balance. Works well.

Ignore Ruger's instructions: USE LOC-TITE on the scope base. Just be careful and keep it out of the action.

A little scope will make the 10/22 a useful little small game and practice rifle, IMO.

I'd say it'd be a perfectly good choice for the price point for just plinking. Opticsplanet.com is always very overpriced by the way. Heres the same scope at midway for less.

Personally though I find something with a larger objective lens than the common small ones intended for rimfires to be more fun and better all around in general. You'd have to get some high rings for it, but this Tasco looks to be a bargain to me for a 50mm. In fact, thanks to looking it up for this thread I think I'm going to order one myself for the Mark II .. grr.. thanks, thanks alot.. making me spend money .. grumble grumble...

Anyway, you'd still be at under a hundred bucks with rings.

My BSA was junk. I got rid of it and will never buy another. Wouldn't hold zero, on a .22.

Others have had different experiences.

Caveat emptor.

Simmons offers a reliable, decent scope for cheap.

I've had a BSA 2-9 x 40 on mine, it was a nice scope and didn't cost twice as much as the gun. just don't skimp on the rings, they make a lot of difference.

runaway, from BSA!!! that should be their new slogan... anyway, that is pretty good. but what is better, is the Tasco, same specs, in the hard blister pack, it comes with a set of muffs, plus shooting glasses, it sells everyday at aCademy , and othe sports stores for about 30 dollars!!! sweet. I think the tasco version is called the Silver Antler.
