Which Scope for a 10/22?

again, the one in the pic above, is adult, spring piston, air rifle rated. spring piston, air rifle rated scopes are tougher, and can take more recoil, than a centerfire scope.

Ordered a Bushnell for mine but have not mounted yet, it seems decent and I had a gift card to amazon I needed to use, $39 with free shipping there. Can let you know by next weekend.

I had heard that BSA was absolute junk and should not even be considered, but when i bought my 10/22 with a factory heavy barrel, and was picking out an optic the man behind the counter swore by the BSA sweet 22. I kept trying to get away from it but he kept pulling me back. I eventually bought it thinking that if I don't like it I only spent 100 bucks, scope and mounts. It came with three elevation turrets for the three common 22 grain weights. I use it for ground squirrel where i shoot from 10 yards out to about 120. The elevation turrets make shooting the rifle that far really easy. It is a great scope.

I don't think this is really true. Good rifle scops often come apart on a spring piston air gun, not because the recoil is so strong, but because its in the opposite direction of what it was designed for. To some extent the bolt slamming forward on a .22 can have about as much "recoil" in the opposite direction as the shot does, so an air gun scope would likely be fine on a .22, but I'd bet against it holding up on a 7lb .30-06 hunting rifle.

My BSA is fine, didn't spend as much on the scope as I did on the barrel

The smallest groups were with Wolf Match, 50ft targets shot at 50 yards off sandbags, 10 shot groups.
