Hey guys looking to turn an old milsurp rifle into a scout rifle. I don't really rifle hunt but I would like to make it a SHTF rifle, right now I'm looking at an Enfield SMLE. Anyone have experience making one of these from scratch? What type of scope will I need? I'm on a budget so I would like to make my own.
