Hey all,
Anyone know what kind of chokes I can buy to supplement my mod cyl screw in that came with my NEF Pardner Pump 12 g? I'm specifically looking alternately for a rifled choke for sabot slugs. Does anyone have any experience with which brand will fit?
As a secondary question, I'm also in the market for an 18" barrel for my pardner pump (currently has a 28 inch sport barrel) for home defense. I have heard the remington 870 barrels can be modified easily to fit the NEF, which is essentially a knockoff of the remington design. Does anyone have any experience with this? If so, please advise.

Thanks.

These questions come up all the time.

The correct answer (and it's not a smart aleck answer, and definatelly not intended to be) is to read the owner's manual, or ask the manufacturer. If you have not read the manual, you really should.
This information is most assuredly in the manual. If not, the manufacturer is the one to tell you how they made it.

Mossberg, Winchester, Browning Invector, and H&R are all interchangeable.
Makes finding tubes for these guns really easy.

Thanks Onmilo. That's what I was wondering. The dudes at NEF were not super helpful. Yes, I did get a manual, but it only tells you how to take the barrel off the gun for cleaning the bore, and doesn't give much help other than that (what do you expect for a 135 dollar gun made in china?). In any event, it disassembles just like a Rem 870 so cleaning the action wasn't too tough. I just didn't want to blow 50+ dollars on a new choke tube only to find it didn't fit.
