Sure, probably.
But if you can't resize them, you can't seat them!

How did you get a .308 sizer die without getting a .308 seater die???

Inquiring minds want to know!

He may have found it the way I found a whole box (17 mismatched dies, shell holders, scales, tools, etc.): a yard sale after a garage clean-out of a deceased hunter. The best part however was the truckload of vintage ammunition that they wanted disposed; I made a great deal: I remove all the ammo, and I get everything else for my efforts. Everyone was happy.

When I neck size 30-06 with a RCBS neck sizer, I am unable to seat bullets in my Lee 30-06 bullet seater for reasons that are unclear to me. My Lee 308 bullet seater worked well however. Brass full length resized in Lee 30-06 full length sizer worked ok.

when my dad was in town I worked the brass to the point it was ready for powder and I never finished them before he left town and I never got around to buying 3006 dies.

If the die is long enough not to fall out the top of the press it should work.
