Seeking some opinions for moose-capable Alaskan big game rifle.

These two statements seem to be at odds with each other.

A .30/06 with 200gr or 220gr Nosler Partition will be almost indistinguishable from a .375, with a well placed shot. (Got both, killed game with both, and THREE .338's).

A 9mm "might" expand. A .40 .or 44 never "shrinks"

Natives shoot [and drink] whatever is cheap.
Doesn't mean I'm going to copy them.

Bingo! Africans may use a piece of rebar to stuff down their muzzeloaders but that doesn't mean I'm going to use it on safari.
