SEI gas block/front sight on med contour barrel?

I have a SA M1A Standard Loaded with a 22 inch medium contour stainless barrel. I was considering replacing the standard gas block and front sight with the Smith Enterprises unit, and the standard flash suppressor with a shorter and more effective SEI DC Vortex or AAC Blackout. As SEI makes no mention on their web sight, I was wondering if anyone knew if the SEI gas block/front sight GLFS-D-22 Dovetail, part # 2011, would work with the medium contour barrel on my rifle.

If not, what are my options for mounting a modern flash suppressor without losing the front sight?

I am 99% sure that the barrel diameter at the gas block and, separately, at the front sight is the same on a Loaded model's medium barrel as on a GI profile barrel. But since it's your money and not mine I'd suggest calling SA and/or SEI to be certain.

This lets you combine an SEI front sight with a PWS FSC-308 to get both flash suppression and reduced recoil.

Thanks for the reply and the link. While interesting, I am primarily interested in updating the flash suppressor in preparation for eventually attaching a sound suppressor. This will be a little ways in the future but I'm trying to see what my options are.
