yes, all those are considered "traumatic pistols" here , legal to carry once you have license from local police

the smaller one fires 9mm rubber balls with some 40 ft-lbs of muzzle energy and is called "Makarych" ; the bigger two fire 12 gauge rubber balls from 1 1/3" case with some 70 ft-lbs of muzzle energy
The two-barreled abomination of the shotgun is called "Hauda" (apparently, from the british empire-days Howdah guns ), and the pump-action (which has 5+1 capacity) is called "Terminator"

1. yes, they use gunpowder, and some inventive people here already do reload: that is, unload factory ammo, make new powder load (pssst, no one says 'hotter load', that's big no-no ) and load it again carefully.

4. well, 9mm ball can make a big sking bruise, and 12ga ball or 18mm slug can, at short ranges and with light clothing, break the bone (rib, for example)
5. local prices vary from about $250 and up to about $1000
6. sounds like .22 or .25 handgun to me, unless you use 18mm gun with flash-bang rounds, which sound as a .300 WinMag with short barrel
7. i believe 5-6 meters is reasonable maximum range

These non-lethal CIVILIAN guns make so BIG difference from defending yourself with bare hands. These "guns" represents so big step towards freedom...Until the collapse of CCCP, even learning karate or judo was punishable with prison sentence in Sovietunion!

And these devices are pretty effective agains unarmed attackers. I'll choose a Makarych 10x22T any day against a .25 ACP pistol, or a knife.

that's not entirely true. Indeed there were times when karate was made illegal, but judo, sambo, box etc were always considered good prorts here; and one must remember that DOSAAF organization has sponsored free shooting training for kids and adults
