My favorite manufacturers of autoloaders are:

1) H&K
2) Colt
3) Springfield XD (okay...importer w/ design input)
4) Beretta USA
5) Glock

Hmmmm. This is harder than it first appears. Colt (these days) only makes one frame I would buy, the 1911 style. I like Kimbers and others, too, but I can't consider all the possible 1911 offerings, or my list would be skewed. the 1911-style is my all-time favorite pistol, any caliber. Across the range of current offerings, the manufacturer I prefer that has the widest selection is Sig. I also have a weakness for the Walthers, but leaning more towards the older styles versus the P-99's. Dang!
