Glocks are ugly, Sigs are not.

What else would you like to know?

Welcome to THR.

And for those thin skinned.......... it's a joke.

SIG's have "soul", Glocks do not~!:)

Apparently the souls in my two Sigs love Exeter much, all two went back immediately after NIB purchase for some fixin! :p
Neither my soul-less Glocks ever need to leave my house for repairs.

I am a SIG guy. I have shot numerous guns of numerous brands over the years. By far the most reliable firearms(autoloaders) that I have seen been a pretty wide margin are SIG pistols. (Does not include the GSR,Trailsides etc. I am talking about the classic and PRO series).

I am not saying Glocks suck. I do not care fore them but they are spectacular firearms. I have, however, seen many more malfunctions in Glocks then SIGs.

The reality of it though is, it is a personal decision based on preferance. Both will give you great service. Buy the one that feels and fits better.

SIGs, are indeed much prettier though. :neener:

Sell me on Glock verses Sig, or Visa Versa...
Dumping most of my Guns, and trying to decide what to keep :banghead:

Wait, am I correct in understanding that you already own both and still can't decide which to keep?

Take both to the range.
Drawing as quickly as you can both times, fire a single shot at the bullseye on a fresh target from each gun.

Keep the winner.

I don't think Sigs are prettier. I wouldn't mind having a Sig, but everytime I pick one up it feels awkward and like the slide is 6" over my hand. I've shot a 220 a few times and wasn't overly impressed. Glocks feel better to me (not the 21/20) and honestly look better to me too. Keep what shoots best for you. Of course, you may be able to get more money selling yours Sigs too.

Glocks are ugly, Sigs are heavy. Depends on what you are going to do with the handgun you keep. I could never sell one of mine and I have several models of both.

If you already own both and can't decide which to keep, we probably can't help. :)

That being said:

Glock:

- fewer parts to break
- no rust
- lighter
- higher capacity relative to size
- can be detailed stripped in 3 minutes, and without a machine shop, replacement roll pins and a degree in mechanical engineering.

:)

best regards

SIG
higher resale value
more respect on the interweb

Glock
smaller
lighter
higher capacity
simpler to operate
simpler to strip
consistent trigger pull
tougher finish
lower maintenance
cheaper initial investment
cheaper mags
(resale value not applicable)

Basically, if the glock shape fits your hand, it's a no brainer. Some just aren't compatible with the grip, the finger grooves, the way it points, etc. These would be the only reasons I would recommend anything other than a Glock.

but glocks can pass throo metle detekters11!!1!!1!111!!!

:cuss:

hehe... handle both, shoot both. i am rather fond of both.
