Anyone had any hands on experience with magnum research 22 mag semi auto rifle?Do they have the same problems as ruger had with the 10/22 mag semi.I want a semi 22 mag rifle but worry about functioning.

Had a model 94 22 mag that was lever action and was damn nice, but no semi's. Just saw a nice kel tec 22 mag semi auto pistol that looked pretty darned nice. Sorry can't help on the rifles though... I have a buddy with magnum or volquartzen 17 hmr and he likes that. He's been buying aluminum mags from some outfit.

So far no problems with my Remington 597M. But a few others have reported issues 
I suspect some of it comes down to cleaning. Some 22M ammo seems to generate more particulate "grit" than others?
