That's on the cloture vote to prevent a fillibuster on the motion to proceed with the bill to the floor for debate, not the bill itself.

I know...should have made that plain in the title...fixed on my post title.

I don't have any ambitious intent for the information. I just thought it interesting to share the roll call information. If you feel it serves no purpose, please feel free to delete it.

I suggest people plan to 1) write their senators and either thank them for their nay votes or tell them they are disappointed in their yea votes and urge them not to support the bill. 2) work towards ousting those who voted yea. Obviously that is not too likely in some cases. However, the so called pro gun Democrats in swing states such as the senators from MT or Manching who has been a traitor from the start on this need to feel the voters wrath. The same for republicans who voted yea in states that are solidly republican. These people in many states are easier to oust than you think. You do it at the primary and/or causus level. So few people participate that it is easier to carry influence there. People like McCain and Flake (how apt) from AZ, chambliss from GA, Corburn from OK, Graham from SC etc. Only that will send a message to politicians about keeping their grubby hands off of our constitutional rights. The "pro gun" Democrats were no surprise (everyone should also thank Arsenal once again for helping Reid get re-elected in what was a close competitive race). I know I know, its not a party issue (but for some reason only Democrats lead the charge on gun control and only 2 Democrats voted nay on this. The real thing that boils my blood is these rhinos that voted yea. They need to be ousted prior to the general elections. It can be done, see the 2010 campaign against Senator Bennett in UT.
