I've decided that I will forego 1trip to the range and send the monetary value of that trip to the NRA.

Giving up one range trip to ensure that those who lobby for us can do their job effectively is a small price to pay. We are after all facing the deep, deep pockets of the anti - gun people.

Anyone else want to join in.

Average cost for a trip to the range is a good idea. I doubt most would miss skipping one shooting outing.

I agree. Even to those that are not members, donate a little to them to help protect our rights. They really are the wall that is protecting us. I convinced a couple of non members to help. One joined, the other donated $20. The lady that just donated, does not care for the NRA themselves, but agreed that we all need to help every bit we can.

Donate to the NRA-ILA (not just regular NRA) and write your representatives and tell them you do not support any kind of further gun control.

I went ahead and upgraded from Patron to Benefactor & got my fiancee a life membership. Things are getting serious here in 2013...

Today I sold a couple small items on the forum. I decided I needed to do more. The gentleman that bought them is outspoken about our rights and has evidently been a great help in his state. It was under his lead I decided every little bit can help. I took the amount that he is paying for the items and bought a friend a membership to the NRA. He is fresh out of the service and someone I shoot with as often as possible. I donated the remaining balance to NRA-ILA. While it was only a drop in a bucket we all need to fill, thanks Swan Hunter, for inspiring me to do more.. While my wife and I donate to quite a few Pro-2A groups, it has made me want to do more and more... Thanks again Swan Hunter for all the work you have done.. Know your money will go to something bigger than any of us.

I figured it would be possible to connect a donation to an offer, and I was right.

Yesterday NRA-ILA sent me their latest sweepstakes, and today I'm entering with a donation.
