Serial Number S&W .22 cal ctg

I have just acquired a very nice S&W .22 cal, pistol with a 3 3/8 inch barrel.
Is ther anyone that can help identify the model's date of birth-- by serial number?

It begins with M95---

It should have a model # on the cylinder yoke. Should say 17, or 18, or 34. Those numbers might be followed by a -1 or -2 etc.
With a 3 & 3/8" barrel, it sounds like a Model 34.
