Serviceable 1100 stock wanted

Long time no see guys...sorry.
I need an old stock set for a Remington 1100 12 guage. Looks are not important but serviceability is. I plan on painting it camoflage and using it for field use. If anyone has a set or half-set laying around let me know through this forum or PM and I will gladly pay shipping and a small fee for them if reasonable.

Also, how do I know if my shotgun is post '86 or not? I hear that the stocks for the two will not interchange. Thus that info seems important to know and I don't. Thanks for the help!

I believe the difference starting in 1986 was the barrel channel because of RemChokes first, and Target Contour and Light Contour since. You can make the fore end fit with a little tape or some sandpaper on a dowel. There are lots of stock sets on eBay fairly cheap usually.

The parts closeout section of the Remington Country store usually has 1100 stocks in some fugly camo pattern for cheap. Saves you the spray paint.
