shady businesses

is there a current running thread on online businesses that have shady practices? i understand that everyone has their share of bad experiences with inventory/shipping/price gouging, but there are a few companies out there that should not be trusted.

ive heard this and that about places like Florida Gun Works and Special Weapons, just thought it would be nice to be able to look a company up on a place like this before trying out a place i had not heard from yet.

Try the Better Business Bureau. No guarantee that they will know about a particular company or not, but it's just a phone call.

I've never looked, but maybe Craig's list would have information.

Google the company name and see what comes up.

usually a google search on a particular company will give you info, but as with everything take with a grain of salt.
