Shapels in Boise closing

    Well, after the loss of Bob (the old man) and Mark Shapel, they decided to cloos the doors on Boise's oldest and best gun shop effective Sept 1st :(

    I know I will miss the shop!

    Plus side though, everything is being closed out and the deals are amazing.

    used to go in there a lot when I lived up there...

    Just sent email to my sisters (Notus & Caldwell.) I'm not going to be able to get over there before they close. Bummer.

    Say it ain't so! Dang! I'll have to get over there and grab what I can in the closeout. They have been my favorite source for reloading stuff.

    Historical note, Elmer Keith did a bunch of his .44Mag development work there. At least that's what the locals claim.
