Guys,
I'm experimenting with the best combination for my M&P .45 full size, using the 230 gr LRN Hornady bullet.
I've put together various different powders (clays univ, bullseye, etc) and different loads, but would like to ask the experts around here.
Has anyone got a favorite load for this combination?
thanks-jeff.

5.0 to 5.5 Grs W-231 is hard to beat with 230 Gr lead in .45 ACP. Shoots well in most any gun.

8.0 gr #5
4.5 gr Titegroup

These are my favorites in my Sig P220 shooting my cast LRN 230 boolits.

The Dove

Unique works better for me than Bullseye in .45 ACP, but not as well as H110 or Titegroup.
Thanks for the suggestions, I just got back from gander with some 700-x. Will load it up for tommorow!

Yes, you'll notice the powder is WST. Soft shooting, clean, accurate. And available. :)

WST is good stuff. I really like it for light loads in my 25-2 Model 1955. Works great for light stuff in 1911's also of course, as mongoose33 posted.
