She’s back!

Love the Security Six. '79 or '80 I bought my 4' model new at a bicycle shop. It was my second CF revolver. Still have it. For some reason, It's one of the few guns for which I remember the purchase details. Maybe because the shop proprietor seemed perturbed. Probably has his eye on that gun.

Like the Security Six, the Presentation Pachs are strictly about function. They go well with the gun.

As LaneP said, the Security Six is one I wish Ruger would bring back.

I was never was a fan of the factory grips that came on the Security Six. they just felt awkward and uncomfortable. First thing I did after getting the gun home was change out the grips for a set of Pachmayr Presentation grips. Didn't care if they looked nice or not; just that they felt so much better than the factory wood grips.

I actually really like these grips, always did so I’m in no hurry to change them. Besides the first thing my oldest said was “that’s tight dad, it’s already blacked out and everything”

I also sinned and put Hogue Monogrips on mine after the picture was taken. But then I put Monogrips on all my Revolvers that they make them for, even my Single Six. Hey they fit my hand.
