Shell holder not always holding case on turret press

??????.............I would like to see Dillon's turret press, I wasn't aware they made one........Is it an older model....?

I may have used the term Turret incorrectly ,yet and older say 550 can in fact be used similar as a single station operation or progressively .
My intended point was Shell plate retainer ,some don't sufficiently snug the center shoulder bolt and if left lose ,it can cause major headaches while doing progressive or single stage operations .

A single stage reloading press is limited to performing one step of the reloading process at a time. Additionally, only one case is loaded into a single shell holder for processing.

A turret press is a blend between a single stage press and a progressive press. ( So similar to a Dillon dependent upon model of course ) .

An auto progressive press is the assembly line version of a reloading press. Multiple cases can be loaded into the press at one time. Each pull of the lever indexes (rotates) the shell plate. Consequently, cases move through the various reloading dies and stations before the cartridge is complete.

I'll also add some progressives are manually indexed ,others automatically geared .
