Shell Holder Won't Fit

Hello all,
I just ordered a Lee Auto Prime from Cabela's. I assembled the little guy as per the instructions, but when I tried to put a Lee #19 (9mm) shell holder into the auto prime it would not fit. It seems that the shell holder is too big for the Auto Prime. I'm very disapointed to say the least but I wanted to ask for advice before I try returning it. Am I missing something here?

I don't have one, but it is my understanding that the Lee Auto Prime requires a different set of shell holders from the "standard" ones. You can buy a set of 11 for a low price if you want to keep the A-P.

I have the Auto Prime--and Mal H is correct; you need the set of AP shell holders; the press ones do not fit.

Thank you both. That makes me feel better because I didn't buy junk and worse because I have to spend more money before I can load 9mm.

As said above, make sure it's specifically labeled for the Lee Auto Prime as well. There are also Lee Case Trimmer Shellholders that look somewhat similar but also won't fit...

Well, now that we have the OP's question answered, I move that we go on to discuss the more-important question of why he wants to use an Auto Prime with 9mm cases, and if that implies he's loading 9mmP on a Single Stage, and not at least on a Lee turret, and priming on the press. [/Joke]
