Alright you ingenious guys, I'm trying to come up with an idea for free standing shelves to store ammo boxes on. I have a quantity of small and large ammo boxes which I use to store components and ammo in and, as you know, these bad boys get heavy, so I'm looking for ideas for shelves that would handle the weight of the boxes. I have something in mind about 12 inches deep with 5 or 6 shelves. Any ideas, thoughts, designs, or actual pics would be appreciated!!!

I use gorilla racks.

You can buy large ones at Sams club and I picked up a couple of racks that are very similar but with a different name and half the size at wal mart. Metal frame, no bolts, thick pressure board shelving. You can assemble them as either one tall shelf or two side by side shelves. Holds something like 900 pounds of stuff.

Piney,

Just what I was looking for!! Simple and I can make it the size I want. The gorilla racks, which I've had before, are too deep for my purposes. I checked out your website and it looks like you are quite an artist. BTW, part of east Texas is called the Piney Woods.

Thanks to the others for taking the time to comment, especially critter!

Best regards, Jon
