Was at a large outdoor/gun store yesterday that had just received their ammo and component shipment. Cardboard boxes were laying about the floor, some empty, others full. Store employees were busy helping customers and trying to stock shelves at the same time. Customers were picking through the unpacked boxes for ammo like women at a half price wedding dress sale.....should have taken a pic with my cell phone.

That is the scenario in several shops recently.

We can expect more of these... "Women picking through the...." in the future.

Heck, recently at one shop The deliveries come in one door, money goes out that door and several customers waitied like eagles and descended to grasp thier now paid for ammo in thier talons and fly away with it cases and all. None of the stuff had a chance to get a price sticker or make it to the shelf.

This is just absolutely insane. I never ever in my wildest dreams imagined this happening. But it is, right here in front of our noses, just like the "Cabbage Patch" doll craze. I wonder when the radio stations are gonna get on the band wagon and start having contests for cases of ammo?

I need to start taking my own hand-truck to Wal Mart, Sportsman's Warehouse, etc.

I really don't see this as a bad thing. At least one part of the economy is being stimulated, and would you rather have all that ammo in the gunstores of America or the gunsafes of America?

I agree. I'm delighted with all the reawakened 2A enthusiasm... Shows Govco is facing a bigger challenge than some may have ever imagined. The more armament that's out there in private hands the better.
