Has anyone here built shelving for holding die boxes individually in their own slot? I would like to be able to grab a die box without removing die boxes from on top of it and then replacing the boxes to the stack after removing the box.

Anyone have a picture of such a setup?

No shelving here, I chose to build a custom drawer to hold my Hornady dies. I have a wooden stop on the right side that I adjust when I add new dies. It needs to be readjusted after this holiday season.

Works much better than a shelf.

I don't have all that many die sets, but what I do is just turn the boxes on edge with the labeled end facing outward, side by side, sort of like books on a bookshelf. Simple to just pull out the box you want. It works with Lee, RCBS, Forster and Redding die boxes that have slots for the individual dies in a set to rest in so they don't rattle around and crash into each other when you turn the box on edge. Don't know about other brands. ymmv

I found a couple of old steel "card file" boxes, the ones with drawers for the cards. I screwed a double "file" to the undedside of my bench and put the die boxes on edge in there. I labeled the edge of the die boxes so I can grab the one I want without hassel.
