Had our local club shoot today. The wife's 25 yd pistol target. She threw the
7th shot right up into the white. Can you believe it!!!! A "8" at 25 yds.!!
She's human just like the rest of us after all.

Hmm. I could pretend I've never seen such a thing before, but then you'll probably find out my score from the Horse Pistol postal shoot over on The Muzzleloading Forum and I'd have to admit I probably have.

Ed: That doesn't read right. What I meant was I've been known to toss out a few flyers myself on occasion. Like 3 out of the 5 shots on my 25 yard target for the postal match.

That's typical of a first-time woman shooter and I mean that as a compliment. They have less pre-conceived notions on how to shoot a gun and actually listen and apply what is being told to them. Thus, it's not unusual for women shooter to be able to out shoot the novice men shooters on their first time out.

Kudos to your little lady. Now, let's see if you can sleep with one eye opened.

If she can shoot like that, it might be better to play nice and leave off with the eight ball, before you wind up behind one.

Actually it would seem though that you're showing off the other 7 and rightfully so.

At center mass on the average person, at 25 yards, I doubt there would have been any complaints. Be nice to the lady.

I don't believe the lady is a 'first time' shooter. I have seen photos of her in competition before. She is good!

I've actually watched her shoot. She's very good. No novice at all, she'll stand out in any group of shooters, gender or experience notwithstanding. From my standpoint as an RSO, she's also a pleasure to have on the line because she really knows what she's doing and how to do things right.
