That's tempting, I've been looking for a 9mm and I currently own 2 Shield 45s so all my holsters should work. I was thinking about something with a 4.5" or 5" barrel for range use since I have 40s and 45s for carry and the house. That price is lower than I paid for my 45s pre Covid but they offered a $75 rebate then. My biggest complaint about any of my M&Ps are the price of extra mags, I never see them on sale for a decent price or if they are discounted they have high shipping prices unlick some other brands mags.

The low price point on Shields was back in 2018-2019. The first gens were running $279.99 and you could get a $30 or $40 rebate for a while. My first thought when I saw the ad was they were unloading the last of the gen one's, but it clearly says M2.0. If prices are fairly close, I suppose Shield Plus sales are killing Shield M2.0 sales.

If that gun had the manual safety I would buy one for my son. Having a manual safety is a personal fetish of mine. I have the Gen 1 and the Shield + PC right now, and the difference is night and day between the way they shoot.
I currently have some parts coming from S&W to put in my Shield Gen 1 and if that takes care of the stove piping problem it developed, I will give it to my son. The heavy trigger in it was always an issue for me.
The Shield + PC trigger is more akin to my old, smooth, SR-9, so not so much of a problem taking both to the range at the same time now.
I jinx my self often by taking to many different triggers to the range.

Called S&W today to order parts for my old Shield, (recoil spring assys) to see if that fixes my Gen 1 stove piping once in a while. S&W wouldn't let me pay for it. 14 day backorder though. I asked for a new one for my new Shield + PC also, the one that is in it catches when I compress the springs. Makes it hard to put it together after cleaning it. Gave me that one to, but they should have, it's new and under warranty.
My old Gen 1 Shield warranty ran out 8 years ago.
Kudo's to S&W!
I guess by the time I get the parts and try them in the Gen 1 Shield, the sale will be over. Still laid up and can't go to the store anyways.
Oh well, guess I will have to wait for another sale.

It looks like that item may be sold out. Not that I needed another Shield....

The few times I've dealt with S&W CS, they've been great. When I got my 4" Shield .45, I looked around for extra recoil spring assemblies, but could not find any. So I called S&W, and the conversation went something like this:
Spats: Hi. I just bought a 4" Shield .45, and I'm trying to figure out where I can buy a couple.
S&W: Do you have your serial number?
Spats: Sure. It's XXXXXXX. Do you happen to know where I can buy RSAs? I'd like to keep an extra on hand.
S&W: No, you can't buy those. I'll send you one, though. If I could have your mailing address?
