Shipping pre-1899 antique rifle to California?

I have a pre-1899 rifle I'm selling and a potential buyer in CA. By federal law, it is legal to ship directly to an individual as long as they are of age and not prohibited from owning firearms. Problem is, some states have laws preventing this and I haven't been able to come across anything to verify CA's position. Does anyone know if it is allowed under CA law and if so a link or other evidence to support this?
