Shooters Ridge 10/22 Magazines

Anyone used the Shooters Ridge magazines for the 10/22's? I was flipping through the Natchez catalog and saw them listed in there. I see they offer a 50 round magazine. I'm just wondering how the quality of these are. The Ram Line ones suck, and the Promag drum gets horrible reviews. The only one that seems halfway decent is the rotary one or whatever it is and it's too expensive for me. I'm wondering if this one might be a good alternative.

So far I've been happy with the 25 round Shooter's Ridge mags I have, but then my Ramline 50 rounders have worked fine for me since I put in the Volquarton "exact edge" extractor.

I've not tried the Shooter's Ridge 50 round mags. I've a couple of the MGW rotary mags, they work fine but are such a PITA to load I rarely bother with them.

Butler Creek "steel lips" 25 round mags at ~$25 each are your safest bet.

Any comments on the old Mitchell Arms 50-rnd teardrops? They have steel lips and I think someone started making them...

No first hand experience but from reading at rimfirecentral they are problematic at best. The steel lips are good and the TI's are as good as oem. The TI's are adjustable and well really shine with aftermarket stocks that effect the mag alignment.

Those from Tactical Inc. are the only ones worth fooling with. BDM's are well-reputed but they lack steel feed lips.

Stick with Buttler Creek steel lips. Nothing but jams with the Shooters Ridge.

Well, sounds like this is no good either. The reason I wanted one of these is I want a 50 round one rather than a 25 round one. Seems like most of the good companies only make 25 round magazines.

While I've had problems with mine, the BDM 50rd drum is very well reputed. Forget the 50rd ProMag drum.
