Shooting Goon's 1860 .45ACP conversion

Some quick and dirty pics. I'll bet not many 1860's are shot until they're so hot you can no longer handle them. Put another 100rds through it real quick this afternoon. Which is probably a good bit of shooting for most folks but this took all of about 20mins. Gets pretty toasty towards the end. It's up to 500rds and still as tight as it was off Goon's bench. I think the myth that these guns are inherently weak can be safely put to rest.

Need to put the taller front sight on but I think I'll pack it in the square throat Slim Jim this fall.

That's true. I know it will handle +P, but a big difference between that and Super.
