The AMT Automag II was one of the first auto pistols chambered for the .22 Magnum cartridge. In this video we'll shoot a 20 year old example.

Interesting fiirearm. However, ammo is cost prohibitive, and you can't reload it.

Nice video. Some Automags were chambered in standard cartridges, like .30 Carbine for the Automag III. I've heard some people say they worked well, and some say they were jam-o-matics. I guess it depends on the individual gun. If I could track down a reliable one, I'd love to have one. I love how they look.

It can't be reloaded, but .22 magnum ammo cost is on par with factory 9mm and cheaper than most other factory centerfire handgun rounds.

I've got one of the automag II "backup" models with a very very short barrel, biggest darn fireball I've ever seen out of a handgun lol, and I also have a .500 mag so that's saying something
