Not literally and let me add there is nothing to be ashamed of if you are a redhead. It is just a figure of speech. There are three in my immediate family and I love every one of them although the 7 year old can be a real little wart at times.
On to the rifle, my 22 TCM that gets little to no mention anywhere. I shot it a week ago, didn't care for the scope I had installed, and switched scopes. Thursday I made it to the range early and had the place all to myself for quite sometime. Despite 12-15 mph wind out of the north which had been forecast as 5 mph out of the south I set up and got the scope on at 25 yards. By the time I was ready to go out to 100 yards the wind had shifted to the east directly behind me and died down to almost nothing. I got it zeroed at 100 yards and shot a few groups although my shaky pills were not quite doing their job. I managed a few groups ranging between 11/2-1 3/4" and gave up as the indian wasn't doing a good job with his arrows. I could plainly see the cross hairs moving around on the target and could do nothing about it.
Anyway I have some empties to experiment with reloads now. Also I am going to use another top on my rest to help with any twitches on my part and increase my medication some before the next trip. I am going to use 296 powder and Sierra and Hornady V-max 40 gr. bullets.
I like the stock on the rifle and the rifle as it was easy to set it up just like I wanted. The trigger is crisp with no take up,.no side to side wiggle, and just a tiny bit of over travel but it is five pounds of pull and that has to go.
