I just wanted to follow up to my Remington 1100 TAC Master buildup on a 1967 Vintage Remington 1100...

I took it to the range to function test it as well as check how it patterns with certain loads...

I only tried two loads as that was all I had on hand, Remington Express Buckshot...SP12 00Buck 9 pellet...surprising to me was that in the first 20 shells I had many failures to go into battery failures...the Remington TAC Master doesn't seem to like Remington SP12 00Buck...

Next...I thought I grabbed Federal Premium Low Recoil 00Buck but in fact I had the Maximum Hydra Shok HP Rifled Slug low recoil 1oz Slug - LE127 RS...I was surprised that this functioned perfectly in the TAC Master...

I realize this wasn't a scientific test and that it doesn't mean other influences didn't effect performance...both of these worked perfectly in my 870 a few weeks back however...

I also realized that the 1100 is one soft shooting 12GA even without a recoil pad beyond the stock plastic end cap provided by Remington...so I learned a few things but I need to keep learning...just thought I'd share...
