An interesting day at the range today. I took the new 325 to the indoor range for it's inaugural run. The objective was to see how it functioned, how it felt in hand and how it handled a variety of ammo. It was very, very easy to handle and shoot. I ran factory 230gr FMJ and my reloads in 230gr coated RN, 200gr coated RN, 185 and 200gr SWC's. Recoil was not an issue with any of this ammo. While I wasn't shooting at any kind of pace, follow up shots were easy. The trigger is very good. It needs some break in time but right out of the box it's smooth and easy. Brass bead sight is great. Moon clips are the bomb!
Generally I don't shoot for accuracy the first time out with any new gun. The target goes out to 10yards, I pick a POA and fire away. The 325 seemed to like the wadcutters today, which I'm pleased about. First impression of the 325 is very good. Next time out I'll adjust the sights a bit and see how accuracy is.

The interesting part of the day was shooting a 6" barrel 9mm Rhino. The range has a brand new one in and asked me to give it a test ride. It is different from what I'm used to. It's lighter than it looks. The grips feel great but I had to change from my normal revolver hand position, crossed thumbs, to my semi auto grip, both thumbs forward. Not a big deal once I figured it out. The trigger was great! Probably one of the best DA triggers on a brand new gun that I ever shot. Recoil is definitely different from all other revolvers I have used. A push with not much muzzle flip. Reminded me a bit of a soft shooting 1911.
I ran 50 rounds of S&B 115gr FMJ through it. The first 24 were a bit erratic while I figured out the grip thing. The second 26 were much better, holding about a 2"ish group shooting offhand at 10 yards.
All and all a pretty cool revolver. I have a 4" 9mm version on my wish list and It has moved a little closer to the top of the list now.
