I had a chance to shoot an X5 a while back (the SAO model) and really liked it so had been considering one for a range toy/competition pistol. Today I was able to pick up a Sig Mastershop 226 X6 Scandic in 9mm, Now I know lots of people won't like the aesthetics, but it was the only one I had been able to find in several weeks of searching, except for the blue models and I didn't care for them personally. I can always change out the gold bits later for stainless so that didn't matter much to me. But I do like those grips, birch I believe, it has an excellent magwell, 19 round mags, and the machining is just unbelievable. If you've ever worked with metal you'll understand how difficult it is to get something this perfect.
Short story, this is my new most accurate pistol, I'll give it a better workout tomorrow but I believe it's going to be more accurate than my Witness Elite Match pistols. But I guess at 6x the cost it should be . I picked it up from the store and went straight to the range to run a few mag's through it without even cleaning first. These come with the fully adjustable trigger, including position adjustment, and it's just about perfect. Because of the weight it's also the softest shooting 9mm I've ever fired without a compensator on it.
Now I won't be able to buy that new Maserati Ghibli I've been drooling over.
