I just bought a Sig P226 x5 Allaround - fantastic shooting but the 1st shot is DA. I am an old 1911 guy and think I'll spring for another from Sig's Mastershop in Germany. The x5 & 6 have the ambi safety just like my 1911s so they could be carried in pos. 1 - cocked and locked like I do my 1911. Both pistols are larger and heavier than a 1911 and would probably drag your britches off -but - you have an excellent chance of hitting what you aim at. Maybe better than my custom 1911 Officer's.
6" - longer sight radius and more weight - may be a tad more accurate - would need a trench coat for concealed carry.
5" - I'm used to - have no idea how much 1" sight radius would make
I am open to advice and preferably experience - not sure which way I'm going but will go. Also kind of like their new black & white model but may be a mistake over all stainless??
Oh - use. I punch holes in paper as close together as possible, reload & carry.
Many Thanks for your thoughts.
