It lived up to the hype. My brother-in-law got one for his birthday a few weeks ago, and he let me run a few mags through it last night. Trigger is impressive. Different, and took a little getting used to, but I really liked it. Love the sights, love the accuracy. Hitting 8 inch plates at 20 yards offhand every time was no problem. Even the 6 inchers were no problem. Recoil was present but not painful in any way. Seemed to bounce a bit more than the SIG P938 but that's to be expected I suppose. No malfunctions.

I really want one now...:uhoh:

The PM9 has been my main carry gun for almost 8 years. Mine has been 100% reliable, accurate, easy to shoot, and very easy to conceal.

My main CCW as well........shoots like a gun twice its size.

I just put some Talon Grips on it yesterday, after a year of owning it. The front strap is kinda rough IMHO; it feels awesome with the rubber Talons on it now.

I will also add that, and I'm probably in the minority, the PM9 is worth the extra money over the CM9 - which is what my wife carries.

YMMV.

The PM's and CM's are a little notorious for not being idiot proof...there is a spring under the slide stop that is sensitive to being improperly aligned, and if reassembled incorrectly will cause the gun to have symptoms of unreliability...If a man didn't know any better he'd assume the gun was a POS, and get rid of it cheap....
Ask me how I got my PM9 and PM40....and how long it took to fix each "jamming POS" to 100% reliability ;)

And some owners are good at makeing them look that way all on there own!! Just can't seem to handel small handguns well. The cm9 work as well as the pm with a couply less features and way less cost. I have 2 trouble free kahrs for carry. Take the time to learn your pistol and clean and lub well at first. If you want a pistol that compares closer to the p938 look at the CW and P kahrs. Makes a big difference in how the pistol feels in the hand with a little more weight and little longer barrel. Put a 7 round mag in the p938 and its very close to the cw and P kahrs. Then the bounce will be gone.

I tried dry firing several MKs and PMs at gun stores, gun shows, etc. and hated the trigger. A guy had a MK9 at the range a few months back and asked me if I wanted to try it. LOVED it! I will be picking one up late this year or early next year to be used on those days I need something just a tad smaller. I will also be using it as a side by side comparison for people thinking about a J-frame. Plus, the MK series is just danged nice to look at with that polished up stainless finish.

Cant say enough good things about my CW9, would like to shoot the smaller Kahrs someday, thats if a shooting buddy would ever get one.:)

The PM9 is a great shooter for a bug size 9mm. I owned the P9 and MK9. Kahr has a trigger than can take getting used to unless you're a DAO (e.g. 442) shooter. It's LONG, with a LONG reset (almost all the way out), but it's smooth. I think the PM9 is tops in the bug size CCW 9mm class.

Kahr PM9 daily CCW

Hi, While out shooting a few hundred rounds through my S&W MP15-22 today I ran about 6 magazines of WWB 115gr through My PM9 and it was flawless, but the spread was a little large. Loaded two 6 round mags with my carry ammo Speer Gold Dot 124gr+P and boy those groups tightened right up ! I must have small hands as I love shooting this pistol and carry it daily ! Over 2,000 rounds through it so far without a hitch. Can even slingshot the slide on a new magazine. The DLC coating has held up very nicely also. I have changed out the recoil springs ( wolf ) at 1,500 rounds as well as the magazine springs ( Wolf Springs ). Only issue I have had with this firearm was one of My 7 round magazines the follower cracked ( still succesfully loaded all 7 rounds, did not notice the cracked follower until I arrived home and emptied My range bag ), e-mailed Kahr with a photo of the cracked follower and they sent Me a new one within a week for free. Also made in America which is a nice thing !!! .......WVleo

Purchased a new Kahr PM9 a few months ago.
Little pistol has been flawless after 200 round break in period.
I am suprised at how accurate the pistol is for it's size.

I carried Walther PPK, Colt Mustang, and Colt Pony Pocketlite as mini pistols in the past but now they sit in my safe.

I am alternating between J frame .38spls and the PM9 for pocket and ankle carry as back up weapons or for times, situations, & dress codes when I absolutely can't get away with carrying a bigger "real" pistol.

I am really starting to like the PM9!
