Shot a snubbie for the first time today

If you think that was a hand full, you should try some full house .357's through one of those. It brings a whole new meaning to felt recoil, but man it's fun for those of us who like all that. It will definitely do more than a cup of coffee does to get your eyes open.

You want punishing? Stop by and I'll let you shoot my 2.5 inch Bond Arms Derringer in .45 Colt. :what:

Now y'all have gotten me leaning toward shooting the snub this week. Its a mod. 19 but its still a snub. Range trip!

The first snub I ever shot was an old High Standard .22. I was just a kid and I thought it would shoot around a corner. I had not been trained in pistol shooting. Was just learning. Couldn't the barn wall from inside! Yep...they laughed. :D

It's hard to go wrong with a Model 19. The only problem MIGHT be the slightly bulky size of the K frame. But if you shoot 357 you will greatly appreciate the added weight. I still believe it is S&Ws finest gun in 36 caliber

Picked one up today! Got a used one that has barely been fired at all. I can't wait to get this bad boy to the range for some bang-bang time.

DeadMoney, come back and tell how it turned out. Unload the gun and do a few dry fires while watching your sights. Try to find the trigger pull that moves them the least. Nice gun.

Martin, I managed to get in about 20 minutes worth of shooting at the range today before they kicked me out for New Years Eve early closing. The gun I bought has a very smooth trigger pull, and I like it a lot. Incorporating some of the feedback that the fine folks in this thread have given me helped a bit, too. I look forward to getting in some more blasting time with this baby.
