I got to the range today and shot my recently acquired Python. It was a balmy 15 degrees here in NH without the wind chill! Now I know why people love their Pythons so much. The balance is superb and the weight is perfect. The trigger on mine is super and I really like the way the trigger stacks up at the end. I shot some of my own loads, 125gr. Hornady XTP-HP's with 7gr. of Titegroup and 125gr. Speer GDHP's with 10gr. of Blue Dot. I liked the way both loads shot but I prefer the Titegroup load. I also shot some Magtech 158gr. JSP and I was really suprised how well I did and I was also surprised how nicely the muzzle came back on target. Overall, I think I got a great deal. Now I just need to try some Bullseye, AA#5, Universal Clays and Unique!:D :D

Yea, I took my newly acquired Python out for the first time a couple weeks back. Only complaint I have is that I can actually feel the machine tool lines in the cylinder notches as I squeeze the trigger slowly. I would polish them out and re-blue the cylinder, but I'm afraid the blue would not match the rest of the gun.
