I'm more and more impressed with my PM9. I put another 50 of Remington ball through it yesterday, and it's flawless. Round count now at 250, with mostly fmj, and 50 or so silvertips. This last trip it really showed it's colors in accuracy, putting the first 25 rounds in either the 9 or 10 ring at 7 yds.

Next trip I'll put about 50 or so Gold Dots through it, but I have a feeling this one is going to be a keeper for sure.

Now you know why the Kahr's are becoming this generation's "Gold Standard" in small defense guns.

You've got an excellent gun.
I just passed the 1500 round count with mine.
I replaced the recoil springs around 1200 rounds, just to be safe.
Mine has been flawless.

In my opinion,it's one of the best, if not the best, 9mm handguns for CCW on the market.

Yup, I've got one too and it has never malfunctioned. I have about 300 rounds of WWB through it and 200 rounds of Speer Gold Dot.

I have an all steel Kahr in 9mm and it has been a great little pistola for my concealed needs. It has had, I'd guess, about 400 or so assorted rounds (HPs, ball, etc.) and will not jam. It's good to see info about the P9, as I have been thinking of getting one. Thanks.

I looked at this gun for my concealed gun. I hadn't heard much about it or it's reliability so I passed one it and got the HK P2000SK. I'm on my 10 day wait for it right now.

How does it handle HP's well?

replaced recoil spring

at twelve HUNDRED rounds?!

Seriously, what is the recommended replacement benchmark according to Kahr?

Or do you change your truck's oil every month or 1k miles?

I think it's 3000 rounds for spring replacement. It is a small, light full power gun. Spring tension is critical.

I've had good luck with my Kahr P45 so far. Hopefully it keeps up the good work and becomes a keeper.
