Shotgun lights

I'm apparently not much good with search functions.

I'll be purchasing a Mossberg 500 this week with the 18.5" bbl. Not sure of the exact model (i.e. accessories). What I want is some type of flashlight/strobe with possibly a remote switch. Questions are:

Brands?
Pros and Cons of these lights
Best switching layout
Do I need some sort of adapter/clamp?


Don't want to spend a fortune but I think this may be a good idea considering my floor plan and property layout.

SureFire - there are other threads on THR all about this light. I have the 623LMG - not cheap, but solid construction and solid reputation as a light that will take the punishment. I'm sure others will say ther are cheaper alternatives. Surefire offers I think six different lights that will fit the Mossberg. LEDs are more rugged and will last longer than bulbs.
